Version 0.4.1 supports Apple Silicon and Intel. Initial activation needs internet. The app is not notarized by Apple, so macOS may show a warning.

Open the downloaded DMG

Find the file in Downloads and double-click it.

Move the app

Drag “MacSnapshotBackup” into Applications. Then launch it from Applications.

If macOS blocks the app

If macOS says it cannot verify the app or check it for malicious software, first make sure the DMG came from our website. Try opening the app once so macOS records the attempt.

Allow this app to open

Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and select “Open Anyway” beside the app notice. Confirm with “Open”; macOS may ask for your password. If the option is not there, try opening the app again. Do not disable security for your whole Mac.

Copy your Mac’s code

Find the app in the menu bar. Choose “Kod komputera…” (Computer code), then copy it to the website when purchasing a license.
